Greig Anderson at Effective Design has been a massive infulence to me recently, with his spirographs and badges. His self initiated section of his web site is really nice and has some cool concepts, as does the badge section. Greig is a graphic designer from Glasgow, working for the agency Curious whose site also has some nice content. Greig must be a busy man because he also runs The Serif one of the many design blog i read regularly.
